Laksa Nyonya Paste

Laksa is one of the famous dishes that represents Singapore food culture. A signature mild spicy noodle soup of the Nyonya, it is a perfect combination of fragrant spices, herbs, and noodles, all cooked in an aromatic coconut milk broth. With its complex flavour and creamy texture, Nyonya Laksa is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.

Nyonya Laksa (Approx 30mins) Serves 2 – 3
  1. Fry 5 prawn heads and shell till crispy.
  2. Add 500ml of water and 3 stalks of laksa leaf and boil for 15 mins.
  3. Remove laksa leaf and prawn heads
  4. Add in 1 packet of Laksa Paste and 150ml of coconut milk
  5. Boil in low heat for 15 mins
  6. Blanch and drain 250 g of thick noodles in a separate pot.
  7. Assemble thick rice noodles, cooked fish cake, hard boiled egg, bean curd puffs, bean sprouts and prawns in a bowl.
  8. Add laksa sauce/gravy and serve.
Cooking tips
  • If you prefer a thicker soup, boil down the sauce.
  娘惹叻沙 (约 30分钟) 2 – 3 人份
  1. 将5个虾头和虾壳炸至酥脆。
  2. 加入500毫升的水,3束叻沙叶, 煮15分钟。
  3. 取出叻沙叶和虾头
  4. 加入150毫升的椰浆和1包加沙酱
  5. 小火煮15分钟。
  6. 将250克粗米粉放入另一锅沸水中汆烫,捞起并沥干水分。
  7. 将粗米粉,汆烫鱼饼,水煮蛋,豆腐干,豆芽和煮熟的虾放入碗内。
  8. 淋上叻沙汤汁, 即可享用。
烹饪贴士
  • 如果您喜欢较浓郁的酱汁,将酱汁焖煮至收汁。
